Through its subsidiaries and affiliates it offers consulting, venture partner and investor relations services to its carefully selected emerging asset management partners, and consulting, outsourced CIO and due diligence services to allocators.
CITE Investments aims to create long-term equity based collaborations across its partnership network to enhance value for all parties and form long-lasting prosperous asset management businesses.
CITE’s operating principles are embodied in the company name, which stands for Collaboration, Insight, Transparency and Engagement. A strong view on the importance of Corporate Governance for asset management businesses underlies all our activities.
CITE was founded in 2009 by Sascha Klamp based on the investment themes and concepts he used during his investment experience allocating for Lord Rothschild’s investment vehicles (RIT Capital PLC, J Rothschild Capital Management and Windmill Hill Asset Management).
The CITE team’s expertise spans asset allocation, as well as fundamental and quantitative investment management, gained from prior experiences at several asset management and corporate finance institutions, including Baring Asset Management, AXA Rosenberg Investment Management, Cork Street Capital Advisors, Credit Risk Advisors, Commerzbank Securities and Collabrium Capital.
We are proud to take our practitioner experience back to the classroom, with current teaching links to Imperial College, Cass and Henley Business Schools.

Sascha Klamp, Founder, left Lord Jacob Rothschild’s investment vehicles (RIT Capital plc/ J Rothschild Capital Management) where he was Head of Non-Marketable Alternative Investments to leverage his global Alternative Investment experience.
He advised Lord Rothschild’s investment vehicles on seeding arrangements, divestments and investments across hedge funds, private equity / venture capital funds, as well as real estate allocations globally.
Whilst ‘kicking the tyres’ to identify new investment ideas, Sascha realised that a compelling investment story is more than just the thesis. Rather it is about understanding the people behind investments: be it the fund managers and their teams or the company managers, the factories and their logistics. Onsite due diligence is thus about a ‘time-and-motion’ analysis – a culture web of an organisation. Most importantly, the fine nuances of face-to-face communication that make or break an investment.
